"Dark Sentinel," the brainchild of Marc Glave and one of several new IPs under Wise Acre Comics, seeks to channel the collective yearning for retribution and peace into a saga of vigilante justice born from the ashes of tragedy.

The Genesis of Dark Sentinel

Seven-year-old Daniel Stowers' life was shattered during the Black Lives Matter protests of 2020 in New Babylon City, witnessing the murder of his parents by those sworn to protect everyone equally, under the law. Rescued and raised by Percy Howard, a militant figure turned guardian angel, Daniel is sculpted into an avenger for the marginalized, under the tutelage of Percy’s secret organization SAAM - The Strategic Alliance for the Advancement of the Marginalized. Inherited wealth from Tom Phillips, a Native American billionaire and a mentor, becomes the war chest fueling Daniel's crusade against the systemic corruption poisoning his city. But is that just an excuse to vent the rage that has defined him for 13 years?
